Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday in the red zone after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) retreated 0.47% or 33 points to reach 6,951.7 points.
By 10:35 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume amounted to 27.86 million shares, through 13,600 transactions, with a turnover of SAR 560.52 million.
The consumer services, diversified financials, banks, materials, and telecommunication services sectors fell 4%, 2.4%, 0.43%, 0.26%, and 0.05%, respectively.
On the other hand, the pharmaceuticals sector rose 1.2%, and food and staples inched up 0.28%.
Malath Cooperative Insurance Company’s stock slid 10% to reach SAR 13.50, whereas Nama Chemicals’ stock increased 2.74% to SAR 19.88.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market remaind unchanged at 3,027.03 points.
Abo Moati for Bookstores’ stock dropped 0.55%, reaching SAR 10.90, whereas the stock of Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries surged 8.57% to SAR 57.50.
